One of the plans i have to expand the community is to create a custom article section with voting, commenting and moderation features. I want to try to get this running as soon as possible and once we're out of testing i'll start locating potential "donors" for swag to give away for the article of the month (eg. the article that gets the most votes).
The subjects for articles should follow the forum sections (if you have any suggestions for a new section, just swing me an email).
For the time being, before i can get this system implemented, feel free to send me any articles you have lying around and i'll publish them manually onto the system - just be sure to include your name, contact email, small bio (we want to know who you are, what shakes your tree and what doesn't) and possibly a picture of yourself.
Now, the article section will most likely have to be written from scratch as i haven't been able to find any commercial or free modules for community server 2.1 yet - but if you happen to know of one, let me know.
Other than that, i'm open to suggestions...
