How can I setup a cheap webcam to monitor my apartment while I'm gone and save the video to my PC as well as-
- the internet?
I would like a camera that only turns on when it detects motion so I can know if someone entered my room.
Where can I find this, what is it called and how can I set it up?
A old fashioned camera that records to VHS or DVD would be great as well, as long as it has motion detection and is under 50$ total.
I personally use a Internet Camera. Made by DLink, it features a built in motion detector and audio capability. You can set this camera to email you pictures or save video files when it detects motion.
