New guitar, what should I save up for?
Okay, currently I have a BC Rich Bronze Series Warlock and have been playing for a year and a half, by the time I have enough money for a new guitar I will have probably been playing over 2 years. I have a Peavey Vypyr 75 watt amp.
The guitars I have looked at are the Jackson DK2T and Washburn X50Pro.
I play a variety of genres from Blues to Metalcore and all kinds of things, so I don't fancy a guitar that is only good for certain styles which is why I have stayed away from Fender and Gibson. On the subject of Fender and Gibson, I don't want to be paying for brand name. I had looked at several Dean guitars but because Dimebag Darrell played most of the models that look good they cost more than their worth.
I am open to other reccomendations of guitars.
I would also like to add that my budget is £500 max, not sure what that is in Dollars though.
Another thing, ESP and Schecter are 2 guitar companies that are hard to get hold of in my area.
Sounds like you like metal, so any Jackson guitar would be a great choice. But the warlcoks arn't bad guitars, so if your looking at buying a new one make sure its better then what you have. I've made the mistake of buying a new guitar that was worse then the one i had just because i wanted a new one. Instead of buying a new guitar you could buy effects and such to improve on what you have now. If you get a new guitar make sure its what you want tomorrow not just what you want today.
