Davos is a winter and summer ski resort village located in the heart of the Graubünden in the east of Switzerland. In the early 90's, Davos became famous for hosting the World Economic Forum, an annual winter gathering of international politicians and financiers who represented a transnational elite.
Davos is famous as the host to the World Economic Forum (WEF), an annual meeting of global political and business elites, which is often referred to as simply Davos. It is also known as a winter sports area, including serving as the site of the annual Spengler Cup ice hockey tournament, which is hosted by the HC Davos local hockey team.
Davos became a popular destination for the rich and ailing because the microclimate in the high valley was deemed excellent by doctors and recommended for lung disease patients. For example Robert Louis Stevenson, who suffered from tuberculosis, wintered in Davos in 1880 at the recommendation of his Edinburgh doctor, Dr. George Balfour. Arthur Conan Doyle wrote an article about skiing in Davos in 1899. Davos is also the setting of Thomas Mann's novel Der Zauberberg (The Magic Mountain), which takes place at a sanatorium.
Subsequently, Davos became a famous ski resort, especially with tourists from the United Kingdom and The Netherlands. After a high peak in the 1970s and 1980s, the two-part city finally re-established itself as a leading, and less high-profile, tourist attraction.

How can I set up my drums on a 24 inch bass drum?
I have recently bought a Pearl Professional DX series set. I have been playing drums for 5 years but I've been using my Ludwig set, which has a smaller bass drum and different clamps on the bass drum. Now, I know that it will be more of reach for me when playing my drums because of the large bass drum. But, does anyone know how I could set up the tom(s) so that it is more comfortable for me to play. I do not want to regret buying this set so any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
I can adjust the mounts on the drum, yes. But, even at their lowest, the drum is still way to high to be comfortably played. Maybe a cymbal stand clamp would be better
24," wow, that's huge.
if i were you, i would go with cymbals stand clamps.
for the past 2 years, on my old set, i've been playing with bass drum clamps, but i recently got a new set that doesn't have holes on the bass drum.
i love the new cymbal stand set-up, not only is it easier to adjust the drums, but it gets a better sound because of the vibration
