How to make my Marshall stack part of a stereo guitar sound set up...?

I have a Marshall JCM900 Dual Reverb head and a Marshal 4x12 cab. I also have an old Digitech GSP2101 effects processor. Now bear in mind that I barely know an input from an output or a pre amp from a power amp. What additional equipment do I need to hook up speakers to my amp set up to get a stereo sound. Is it as simple as getting a PA system and hooking it up to the back of amp head? I think that some of the chorus sounds from my effects processor would sound great in stereo. I used to do this through a old home stereo receiver and speakers but that can't be good. Can anyone suggest the equipment/ products to make this all happen? Thanks in advance for any responses..

you're going to need another speaker cabinet and a power amp for the digitech.then you can use an a/b box to run them in stereo or single.you should put the digitech and power amp into a rack together.you should get at least a 4 space rack because most power amps use two spaces and the digitech also uses two i believe.
