It may look easy to deliver a teleseminar and sound like a pro, but that's usually because the person delivering it has prepared carefully and has left nothing to chance.
#3 ingredient - Produce an Outline
Occasionally, some things will go wrong, I've heard people coming on the line, even when the host was in 'presentation mode' which means all callers should have been muted. Then there's has been a power cut and the lines went down - although that can happen without warning to anyone, right? Beginners to teleseminars have even dialed in with the 'guest' number, which isn't so smart as you can't mute the other callers, which can be a real problem if the background noise level is high.
So what can you do to sound like a pro? First of all, after you have chosen your topic, you need to prepare an outline of your subject material. You don't want to sound as if you're reading from a script, but you need to ensure the teleseminar flows naturally without you having to think of the next thing you are going to say constantly.
After chosing a compelling title to raise clients' curiosity enough for them to want to join in, then break your outline into small parts. Start with the intro, make sure you mention who you are and your website or blog address. Don't go straight into your sales/information pitch, instead leave a few minutes for people to join your call. Write down your main points, usually bullet points work well, and add a few sentences under each bullet point to act as a prompt for you to include that information. Any special offers, or promotions should be included in the middle of the call, and not at the end when you're running out of time.
